Since summer has finally came I'd like to speak to you about summer make-up.
Is it necessary to apply make-up in summertime? Of course, no, but it's desirable if you live in a city. Using foundation can help you to protect your skin from many negative factors, such as dirt, dust and sun. Speaking of which luckily there is no more reason to use a sun blocking lotion before foundation, modern products already contain SPF factors which will protect your skin from harmful UV rays. I've become a fan of korean cosmetics lately and I can strongly recommend you to use Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 by Missha in this case. It gives you both perfect coverage, UV- protection and still it really is easy to apply.
My second advise is to change your everyday moisturizing day cream to thermal water. To spray it in the morning after taking the shower is enough to give your skin the moisture it needs. In summer you and you face start to sweat more and this can clog pores. If you start using thermal water this won't happen. It's also very easy and plesant to apply and you can also put it into your bag and use wherever you want. It can also be used when you're already wearing make-up and won't cause it any damage. It can also be perfumed with different fragrances like aloe vera, lime or mint which can be pretty refreshing in a hot summer day.
Give up using Pearl eye-shadows, in summer matt textures fit better. The same I can say about blushers. Please, be careful with compact bronzers, don't forget to apply it on your neck and body too for it could look more natural.
What else? Ah, yeah, the lipstick...my advise is to replace it with lip gloss, it will look much more natural. And use loose powder instead of compact one, it's more light and can be thinner in application. Most girls prefer to use compact powder in everyday life, i'll explane why it is comparatively worse in one of my future posts.
Speaking about fashion trends in make-up, it's all about pastel colours this summer. But don't get this too literally - if they don't suit you- don't use them. Its' always better to use colours which fit you and your style than to look like a fashion victim.
